NUIG University

NUIG is the Galway University. Right in the middle of the city, the campus is a source of inspiration for all.

The quadrangle represents old part of the university and hosts international exhibition as part of various festivals, such as the Galway Arts Festival, the Muscailt Festival, Artisit and Tulca visual Arts Festival.

NUIG will host masterclasses during the festival as well as a sound installation by Chequerboard: 8mm Sounds.

The 8mm Sounds installation is located in the underground gallery of the Quadrangle, next to the Aula Maxima (n6 on the map of venues).

The masterclasses will take place in the Bailey Allen Wing, also called Aras Na Mac Leinn (n7 on the map of venues)
