Kelly’s

Kelly’s is an unusual mix of the old and new. Renovated extensively after the previous incarnation The Living Room closed in 2009, Kelly’s is a traditional looking pub albeit in a slightly brighter colour. Keeping some of the Living Rooms’ strong points such as a decent food menu served all day, Kelly’s has added a fantastic live music/club venue, where the majority of Super8 Shots events will be held, as well as adding the, now essential,  smoking area.

Kellys Live Venue

The live music venue runs regular club nights as well as many international live music acts (such as Sebastien Leger, Hightone, David Holmes and Norman Jay) and

comedy gigs by the lunchtime theatre crowd. The very well kitted out live venue has a standing capacity of just under 300 but is well planned and gives gigs a real intimate feel.

Kelly’s upstairs will host the programme launch on 11th June with TodayFM dj Donal Dineen, the Eyes Age live concert/installation with Patrick Kelleher, as well as the Big Shots Super8 Film competition, at the end of which over 1000 euros of prizes will be offered to the winners.

Kelly’s lunch menu is now one of the best in town especially the selection of warm salads including their warm spiced beef. However vegetarians are also extremely well catered for including the soup of the day which is always a vegetarian option.
