Áras Éanna, Inis Oírr

Situated on the edge of the Atlantic, Inis Oírr is one of the most westerly points in Europe.  On the Island of Inis Oírr, Irish is the spoken language.  In Inis Oírr, we have the only Arts Centre in the Gaeltacht.

In the Arts Centre, there is a 70 seater theatre, a conference room, cafe, exhibition space, artists residence and studio.  Many Irish and International artists have availed of our artists residency programme.

Áras Éanna is an Arts Centre, a community centre, a crafts centre and a heritage centre.  It is for the people of Inis Oírr and for the larger public.  Traditional and contemporary arts are catered for.

Áras Éanna will host all events during the 2nd weekend of the festival on 1-3 July, including the Gareth Kennedy Super8 exhibition, which will run from 2 until 31 July.
